Devon On The Wharf

Very overpriced and the dishes were flavorless, not worth it in my opinion. The fish lacked spices and the steak was very underwhelming. The sound of the waves was nice but the loud music is distracting and we had the ask the staff to turn it down a bit. I wouldn’t recommend going there since there are much better options with tastier dishes.

We spied this place as we exited the ferry and made a special trip back for lunch.nWe ate from the cabinet. The chicken and brie croissant and blueberry cream cheese muffins were nice. We both had a frappe which was cold and refreshing.nWhen the waitress delivered our food to the table she basically said nothing. I'm big on customer service and this let the place down in my opinion. A smile and some friendly service goes a long way.nNice views and plenty of food to choose from either on menu or in cabinet.

Popped in for a gin and tonic after a spot of shopping. I went with a gin I hadn't tried before that was apparently British. It was pretty good so would order it again. It was quite a rainy day the day I was here but I'm sure on a sunny day the view of the water is nice. It was relaxing hearing the waves splashing around underneath the restaurant whilst I journaled. Quite convenient to drop in before/after getting on/off the ferry.nnWent back here for dessert with friends and it was spot on. I was after a warm dessert with ice cream and they had it! Really pleased as I also love Kapiti ice cream and my most favourite flavour is the Doris plum but I also got chocolate and a brownie which was warmed. The plum ice cream and chocolate brownie was the perfect pairing and I'd 100% recommend this combo. Oh and I had a pomegranate drink which was also perfect with my dessert. Am drooling just thinking about it actually!

It was my first time to visit and what a lovely place.nI had great time catching up with friends. Lovely atmosphere, yummy food and very friendly and professional staff.

Impressive place but expensive. Good views and vibes. Good to hangout there while coming back or going to the ferry.
