AKDENIZ BAR CAFE RESTAURANT PERSIAN

Stopped by this Iranian spot in Devonport and was blown away by the kebabs — juicy, perfectly grilled, and full of flavour. The koobideh and chicken skewers were especially good, served with saffron rice and fresh herbs. Friendly staff and cozy atmosphere made it even better. Highly recommend if you're craving authentic Persian kebabs!

Alireza jaan you took me back to Tehran with the delicious food and Persian music. The Ghormeh Sabzi was to die for. As good as the best in Tehran. And joojeh kebab….juicy and tender. Thanks for the great time we had.

First time trying Persian food, and we loved it! Even coffee was good!! Safron ice cream was new for me - it was addictive. The staff were very attentive. Worth a visit!

Absolutely loved our visit to Akdeniz Persian Restaurant. The food was so tasty and authentic, especially the Koubideh kebab, with generous portions. The staff were friendly and made us feel right at home. Overall a fantastic experience, will definitely be back when I’m next in Auckland.

We had a meeting in Devonport the other day and decided to have some Persian food at Akdeniz afterward. When the food was served, I was surprised by the size of the Koobideh and Barg kebabs — they were huge! I’m pretty sure the dish could easily serve two people.
