Recommended by a friend, we dine for lunch to try the Ramen and I am not disappointed. It has more meat on it than the other ramen shops we’ve been to. The wasabi gyoza is highly recommended, just love it! We would definitely comeback
Our favourite local Ramen spot. Super quick with food orders, and dam tasty too! Also a pretty cool robot serves you your kaiFood: 5/5
Decent ramen when your craving for it, good flavor filled with a lot of umami. The broth is homely and just hits the spot when you've got a bit of the sniffles in the cold weather. Will be back. Food 4/5 Atmosphere : 5/5 Pricing 4/5
Like coming back to Daruma, in general. Anywhere we go local or overseas, when there's a Daruma place will surely check &try them out one we tried overseas is in Rome in 2013. Daruma Ramen Botany, is one of our fave place to go to when we want to have some hot Ramen. Daruma
Nice warm welcome when we entered. food and experience was great overall! Waitress was lovely, not too pushy like some other places. Restaurant wasnt too packed and it was nice and clean. 1st time there will Def be back. Our meals were around the $20 pp. Abit pricey but I didn't mind bcos I wasn't paying lol. I highly recommend this place.
Apart from the usual Ramen, they also have yummy Donburi dishes such as the Chicken Katsu Egg. They have Kid's Meals just like the other Daruma Restaurants. As an extra, you even get your meal delivered by the robot BellaBot. Food is tasty, but the portions are not as some other Ramen Restaurants
Oh how the mighty have fallen. I've been coming here since the opening day and witnessed the sad decline of a special restaurant in East Auckland. Every aspect of the restaurant has gone down, from the food, the service, the ambience and the little details. Let's start with the service. Perpetually harassed looking, no "irasshaimase!" on entry, getting orders wrong, asking silly questions If a table of one orders a bowl of Ramen, it logically follows they are ordering one and you don't need to ask "How many?". The robot is a gimmicky addition to such a small floorspace and I suspect what I'm about to mention has suffered to pay for it. The food. Takoyaki coming out looking depressed, deflated, soggy and with hastily squirted on mayo and takoyaki sauce. Ramen broth lacking flavor and depth. Price increase after price increase after price increase. My takoyaki arrived after 15 minutes sure, I'll forgive them as it's a busy Friday and by the time my ramen arrived, I had almost gone off the idea of it. The atmosphere? It appears they enjoy the incredible din and somewhere along the way did away with their background sound system. There's no pride here anymore. There's no passion for the food or culture. It's get in, order, wait wait wait wait and wait and then get out. The last time I'll be visiting what used to be one of my go-tos. Take a good hard look at yourself Daruma Ramen Botany and think about why you started in the first place.
This place is amazing! Nice ambiance, delicious is food dumplings the best! Ramen oh so good the service is excellent. A bit pricey now but I guess it's worth it. Will def come back again.Food: 5/5
This has been a go-to place for a long time now. Prices of the Gyoza have gone up quite a bit compared to before but it's still worth it.Food: 5/5
Very disappointed dinning experience regarding to the service and portion of extra add ons. Have ordered extra meat for Ramen. $5 for 2 and a half pieces of super thin slices. When addressing concerns to the staff, they just don’t care and have shown no intention to solve the problem, all we got is “that’s how it is”… We have dinning experiences with other Daruma franchise, We knew the portion of Daruma is quite small, that’s why we ordered extra! Again very disappointed!!!!! Definitely not recommend…
