Great little excursion on an historic Rail line on a converted golf cart. Good information and safety precautions given. Had a lovely morning tea with scones and coffee/tea homemade by Dave.
We were in Northland for only a couple days and very thankful that Dave & Shane were able to do a special run for our group to accommodate us.nnGreat length trip, 3.5hrs is a good amount of time for a day out. They don’t currently do the longer trip after Cyclone Gabriel caused a slip up the line.nnFare was very affordable compared to other rail cart operators.nnThe personal touch that both guides brought to the trip really made it worth it, the scones were great!
We had a great trip with Dargaville Rail Tours. Dave and Shane are excellent tour guides. Our family from Brisbane rated it as one of their highlight activities while in Auckland.

We took the tour today on a sunny winter day, and it was excellent. The hot beverages and homemade scones were great, and our guides were very friendly and knowledgeable!
