Dami Sushi

I hate to be the one to complain but was very disappointed by the food I had here. I ordered the Ramen and for $19 usually $16 but i paid for extra “pork this was not what i was expecting. My food was very salty, there was mixed vege in it which was super strange. The “pork” I’m pretty sure was cornbeef silverside and then lastly the noodles were basically 2 min noodles. I’m sorry but that did just not hit for me. My friend also got the short beef ribs and for $28 it was tiny! Only 6 pieces of meat on tiny as plate. Honestly, there is so many great options in this food court and this was just not it.

Got a bento. The flavours were okay, didn’t seem super authentic. The sides were pretty soggy and definitely not fresh.

Just got a fish bento box & the fish tasted off and even the tempura was below average. Not going to eat there again. What a waste of $20!

~ Terrible service from the guy with the backwards cap on for starters. Super average sushi. Then ordered a salad which looked nothing like the photo on the board with none of the same fresh vegetables, pretty much only cabbage and the chicken served with it was cold. Complained and asked for something else in replacement or a voucher and the guy said I don’t care if you’re hungry order from somewhere else so we did. Won’t go back there

I used to live in Japan. In Japan, I never once saw ramen with carrot in it. Until I ate at this place. They cut corners, and the result is profoundly average. Not worth your money.

I came here today and the Ramen was so bad it had frozen mixed veggies, peas and carrots and noodles was like 2 minute noodles. I never ordered from this place but decided to try but will not be coming back, very poor quality food.

Great food. Friendly smiles. A staple of Ponsonby food court for years.

Do not go here. Meal was small and bland. Took so long to arrive that the other 7 people I dined with already finished their meals 5-10 minutes before mine arrived. Staff avoided customers and were not helpful.

Actually not anywhere near as nice as I expected. Unusual flavours, soggy fried checking...wired tasting ginger paste..
