Daily Bread — Pt Chev

I took my husband to Daily Bread at Point Chevalier early morning on 2/2/2024.nnMy husband enjoyed his vegetarian pie and flat white. For me, I enjoyed the tasty croissant and a cup of flat white.nnAs it’s still a bit early in the morning, we managed to enjoy our morning coffee and pastries. Staff there are all friendly and helpful.nnWe will definitely go there again in the near future.

I absolutely love the pastries from Daily bread. They are to die for. Love love love the ease of getting them frozen then baking it while out on the water. They taste as good as the frsh ones. Just absolutely lecker.

The shop has a variety of bakeries and jams to go with. The dining area is relaxing with high roof and good sunshine.Highly recommend toasted corn beef sandwiches, at least eight layers of beef inside. A very sincere food! Can park at a parking place at the back and enter from the back door from a stairway. Will be back ~

Love the food, and the service has always been great, however don’t look up at the ceiling or you may be put off your lunch.nThere is so much build up of grease on the ceiling that you can see drip marks in many places where the grease has dropped from the ceiling.nPlease Daily Bread. Please clean the ceiling of all that grease.nnUPDATE: Thank you Daily Bread for reaching out and for doing what you said you would. I called in yesterday for a coffee and yes indeed the ceiling has now been cleaned and is looking great!!nI have updated my star rating to a 4 star only because I believe the ceiling should not have been left that long prior to the deep clean.

The ham and cheese croissant was amazing. The mutton pie was full of filling with a lot of tender meat. The custard pie absolutely delicious with a delicate ginger flavor. Awesome coffee. Definitely I would come back to try other things.
