Great dining experience. Good variety on the menu. We had the venison main and the sirloin main. It was very refreshing to see unusual accompaniments like Parmesan gnocchi and perfectly cooked meats. Really nicely presented. We also shared an amazing dessert. Nice selection of drinks. Well priced and good value for money. Nice friendly waiting staff too. We have eaten here several times but this was our best meal yet and we will call in again next time we’re heading through Amberley.
We’re just wrapping up a two week South Island trip and this was easily the best food we’ve had on the tour. Attentive but relaxed service, cozy building, and the food was excellent. Not surprised this place has had consistent five stars!
Absolutely exceptional no exaggeration. I can be somewhat picky when it comes to food, they will have something delicious for everyone. Great chill vibe, pics do nothing - it's really cute inside/backyard, BUT the FOOD, the food was the best I've had in awhile. Fine dining level food. The chefs and staff clearly love what they do & and are very good at it!nnGreat price for what you get. We were 2 spent about $50usd, $90NZ and got:n- Warm feta yumm, light & perfect flavors chrizo on the side for my husband, since I'm a pescatariann- Halloumi salad well balanced and deliciousn- Scallops one of the best scallop dishes I've ever hadn- Daily sorbet mixed berryn- Dessert Sampler
Stopped unexpectedly at this gem while on a long journey today and we were thrilled that we did! Food was incredibly fresh and tasty, lovely coffees too, we were really sad not to have enough time for dessert!nThe staff were really warm, friendly and welcoming. If you are anywhere near Amberly I would recommend a visit!
Highly Recommended!nnWe stopped at D.O.T.I. Eatery & Bar on our way to Akaroa, and it was an amazing experience. The staff were extremely welcoming and attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious. Every dish was full of flavor and well prepared – we loved everything we tried.nnWe’re not sure if we’ll have a chance to visit this area again, but if you’re passing by, definitely stop here for a meal. Great service, great atmosphere, and great food!
