Every time I feel adventurous the chef has recommended something new and tasty expanding our food and taste horizons even further. Great food, great taste, fabulous service and clean premises. We had THE best authentic Indian last night at Curry Sutra. So authentic that we found real herbs and spices in amongst the curries. Totally recommend them. Plus your order is cooked on request. We have not had one dish yet that we have been disappointed with.

Look around no more for an authentic Indian cuisine, your search ends at this place. I have been here so many times and it is not possible to believe that this takeaway will cater to your need no matter how busy it gets. Leo is an amazing host and great chef too, you feel the passion in the hospitality with warm welcoming environment and most importantly the food. The flavours are top notch and dazzling varieties in the menu, they even come up with specials every time I visited this place. It takes me a long drive to get here but the food makes the traveling worth, thumps up to the team and please keep up with the amazing job.

You should completely ignore the crazy one star reviews on this curry house. It's super authentic Indian food. Cooked by Indians. The food is FANTASTIC. Leo the owner, is a joy to chat to and has so many great recommendations. We eat here fortnightly and the food is always fantastic. The garlic naan and the chicken karahi are amazing. The best of Indian food. Makes me feel like I am in India! Nothing is too hard for the chef who provides amazing customer service and can recommend anything suited to your taste. Whether you like a kiwi butter chicken actually tastes like a curry, not sugary like a chain restaurant or an Indian-hot korma or tandoori chicken, locals know this is the best Indian food in Auckland. Next time you're craving a good curry, go to Curry Sutra! Tried the cheese naan and garlic naan with ours tonight, delicious!

Yes yes YES! Highly recommend Curry Sutra! We thoroughly enjoyed our first experience with our local Indian takeaway restaurant. The flavors and spices of the curries were yum af and cheese garlic naan was legit. Best Indian curry we’ve had in a long time. Will definitely be visiting again.

Great take away in north shore region, food is having authentic taste. it is my local store and i have seen repeated consumers coming in that proves the quality of food and service. the staff is friendly and the owner is amazing guy with vast experience. more over the price is reasonable. The portions provided are decent size and filled very well not like other take away's.

Moving back to Auckland after living away for a year I wanted to find the best curry I could. Living in the CBD let me down in this area somehow and surprisingly, nestled in Beach Haven, is the nicest curry I've had in my life. Finally open again after a depressingly long hiatus my girlfriend and I were inconsolable. The menu is diverse enough so that you have enough to choose from and things you may not have tried before but also with familiar items in case you like to stick to what you know. The staff there are all very friendly and helpful, and I was even offered a butter chicken which I didn't see on the the menu when I couldn't decide what I wanted which was "unlike any butter chicken made in NZ or Australia and is authentic, like how they make it in India". Naturally I had high hopes after hearing a sales pitch, and for once, I wasn't only not disappointed, I was impressed. The portion sizes are generous, something I've noticed not every curry shop does, the pricing is modest, but more importantly the flavor of every dish I've tried has been amazing. Truly 5 stars, I would travel to Beach Haven just to try this.

We had Beef Madras, Kiwi Butter Chicken and Lamb Saagwala .... as always all the dishes were delicious and 10 out of 10. Great service for our local, treasured Indian takeaway. Thanks for you super friendly service and lovely food. Cheers, Phil.

Hands down, this is the best curry in New Zealand. Authentic Indian goodness. Absolutely awesome. I've had many curries in my time but this place is boss. My problem now is that I've been staying in BH the last couple of weeks housesitting but am now back home in the CBD so I'm going to have to drive for miles to get this good curry again, but a trip that will be well worth it. Thank you guys. :
