Good selection, high prices but ok for that area. Average quality with some problems - my burger was one of the worst I've had - just bun, lettuce, chicken, mayo - no tomato or even relish
This icon of Culverdon has slipped downhill. It was dirty, untidy, and generally unpleasant. The pie was dry and unpalatable. The tearooms needs a good thorough clean and some care and love put back into the food and decor. However the staff were friendly and the toasted sandwiches were good.
Inedible pie and sausage roll. Soggy, grey filling, definitely not fresh, lukewarm.

Single scoop ice cream was like a double elsewhere. Small coffee was like at least a medium in the city. Good prices. Indoor and outdoor seating.
Lovely Tearooms. Friendly staff and good coffee and food.Last stop going into Hanmer Springs from Christchurch. Great ice cream on a cone many flavours . Out door seating under the shade.
