What an delicious find. Such a wonderful bakery. We have enjoyed and are still enjoying the cookies, and the bread is equally delicious. The cream filled donuts did not last long. They had a fine outer finish with a soft inner centre.

Do not be put off by what this bakehouse looks like from the outside. When you venture through their doors, you will be delighted by some of the best baked goods on all of Palmerston. Their cheesecake is rich, with a crunchy textured base. It is creamy, yet solid in flavour. The pies are fill with an appropriate amount of filling and enclosed within a flakey pastry delight. Truly a place that makes Palmy proud. You’ve made me proud, that’s for sure.

It was ok. We got two potatoe top pies and yesterdays donuts. And two hot chocolates. If was morning time, I did not expect the pies..the potato top... to be nut hard.. you could break a tooth on. I was gonna mention it but thought I better not. Might take offense. The potato was literally...all of the top layer... golden baked hard as if the pies were sitting in the oven longer then they should of been. So ended up not eating it..birds enjoyed it... Owners of this business should be very proud of your staff. Food is also very nice. But the young ladies so pleasant working with such effiencey. We. Are just passing through Palmerston North but will remember our visit here. Well done

Purchased 1 Dozen hot cross buns that were the worst possible interpretation for a bun that you could ever imagine. I suspect they had been in a freezer since last Easter . Dry tasteless apology for a bun. Most expensive buns in Palmerston North. Avoid this place at all costs..

Don't advertise online that you have gluten free food when you do not make any at all

Distinctly average. Had high expectations from all these other reviews, feel like a realistic review needs to be made. Had a mince pie and at $4.50 felt this was pricey, the pie itself was incredibly average, far too much gravy and barely any mince. Average pie was followed by a very poor custard square, it was flavourless and icing sickly sweet, got half way through and had to force myself to finish the other half due to the knowledge of paying $3.80 for it.

Lovely selection of food, everything we’ve tried has been great!

Tried their lamb salad roll on last visit, in my opinion miles better than subway. Made using french sticks it has fresh tasty combinations of salad, tomato, cheese, lettuce lamb and mint, very tasty. The bakehouse offers a tasty variety of filled rolls, savouries and pies. The rolls are always fresh with plenty of fillings. Individual slices, biscuits etc in the cabinets as well as full sized iced cakes and trays of biscuits.
