Events and weddings are the social heart of Criffel Station, a 2000 hectare commercial breeding and finishing farm of predominately red deer. Located close to Lake Wanaka’s town centre, the Station provides expansive views of the surrounding mountain range creating a stunning backdrop for a memorable Central Otago experience.
Managed with a focus on providing a balanced and healthy environment for its people, land and animals, Criffel Station has three amazing venues. They include the Woolshed which has been lovingly converted into an events venue as part of the ongoing development and enjoyment of the historic property; Stone Hut Terraces with magical views overlooking the Upper Clutha basin and the beautifully cared for 100 year old Homestead. Each venue has unique characteristics and all come with our full attention to detail and style. The venues, are a relatively “blank canvas”, are incredibly versatile and suitable for everything from corporate events to memorable high country Wanaka weddings.
