If I could give 6 stars to Soph and her team, I would!  Originally, my partner and I reached out to Soph to elope in 2020. With our luck, the pandemic broke out days before our day. But we loved our interactions with Soph so much that we wanted to wait to elope with her later on. Two years later, and we can say it was 100% worth it!  She helped arrange a surprise I had for my partner and responded to all our messages quickly. Her speech for us was so lovely, almost as if she knew our relationship personally. Such a down-to-earth human, we joked about divorcing so we can do it all over again!  We were so pleased with Kate’s photos. We wanted lifestyle-like photos that didn’t look like they were too edited, and she nailed it! Kate also made us feel super comfortable the moment we met her, we enjoyed chatting with her so much.  Soph and Kate are the kind of people you want to have as friends in real life and we hope to cross paths with them again some day :

What was originally an idea, a google search, a dream Kate and Sophia made reality. We are a couple from Canada and trying to plan a wedding overseas was not easy, but we were rest assured that everything would be perfectly taken care of. We had sent roughly 60 emails back and forth. The Hide and Seem Elopement Team was always incredibly prompt and we never felt like a bother or nuisance. We had so many questions and they were always eager to answer them and were very professional and kind throughout.  This duo truly delivered above and beyond all of our expectations. We were married in the middle of a pandemic all thanks to the thoughtful planning and preparation they made for our special day. You will be hard-pressed to find a more talented photographer or a more gracious host/officiant. We were blown away by the views of our location wedding and the thoughtful touches included throughout the whole experience. To everyone who is currently dreaming of a destination elopement there is no better place to do it than with Hide + Seek Elopement Co.  You two ladies are absolutely magical. The planning and organization from Sophias end and having her officiate our wedding was absolutely exceptional! And the photos...well lets just say that they speak for them selves! Blown away truly! The girls at Hide + Seek, and all the other businesses they work with, are just the best people for the job. My partner and I had the most stress free, beautiful and joyous wedding thanks to these guys. Communication was super simple and easy, we came from overseas and never felt worried about anything when we turned up. They even gave us dinner recommendations for the area! Sophia and Kate make an amazing team! Hamish and I could not have planned our wedding more perfectly. The process of planning an intimate wedding in Wanaka was so easy and completely painless. We could not have asked for a better day. Sophia is well organised and easy to communicate with. She planned every detail to our tastes and read us very well. Kate is an amazing photographer, who completely wowed us with fantastic photos of the day. We had a great day and owe that to the planning of Sophia and skills of Kate. Would highly recommend the pair!

Sophia is an absolute delight! She married us at Coromandel Peak in Wanaka, NZ in early January 2020, and it went 100% smoothly. She planned our entire elopement from beginning to end, including booking the florals, helicopter, and photographer Kate was on holiday at the time!. Communication was easy and seamless. Because we are based in the United States, we emailed to plan everything and there were no issues. She's a local expert, so I relied and trusted her knowledge and expertise to coordinate, and I'm so glad that I did. Following our ceremony, Sophia worked on the legal paperwork, and a few weeks later, we received our wedding certificate by mail to our home in the US. We are so happy about our NZ ceremony, and can't recommend Sophia and the Hide + Seek team enough!

What can we say?! There are no words to express the appreciation we feel towards Hide and Seek Elopement Co. We were married on 7th Feb 2020 and it’s May now and we still talk about the day now. The entire experience was faultless, everyone involved made our day incredible. My husband and I are both quite introverted and Kate and her team made it feel like we were hanging out with our best buds. Hide and Seek Elopement Co organised everything from my flowers, our photos and video and even our wedding cake. We wish we could re-live this day over and over. Thank you x 1 million

Best day of our lives!!!  We were looking for a unique and amazing elopement experience in one of the most beautiful locations on earth, hide + seek elopement co and Wanaka sure delivered on our desired requests. From the onset Soph provided fantastic client service and made sure the whole lead up to the big day was seamless and easy just what we wanted. On our wedding day we were well prepared for what was to come, thanks to Soph and Kate’s attention to detail, pre-planning and preparation. The day turned out to be flawless in every aspect, the flower bouquet and button hole flower were amazing perfectly matched to my suit and my wife’s dress, hair and make-up was was on point and my wife was over the moon with the result as was I. The grazing platter was so delicious and the champagne was a nice touch :. We chose the heli wedding with 2 landings package and man...we are glad we did so! Turned out to be a gorgeous day and the experience in travelling via helicopter over the scenic lake wanaka will stick in our minds for along time. Our ceremony was held on Coromandel Peak which in my thought was the perfect location to get married unbelieve views. Soph read some beautiful words on top of coromandel peak which was really touching, creative and special. The photos turned out amazing! Kate put alot of effort into the photography and knew exactly how to capture the best moments, absolute incredible job! We don’t know which photos to frame up, as they are all pretty much amazing. Honestly we couldn’t have ask for anything more on day. Soph organised everything from whoa to go and made our day so special, we will never forget how fun, easy, amazing & epic it was. Both Kate, Soph and their team had been so lovely to deal with and we would highly recommend them anyone considering eloping or wedding in New Zealand.
