Pretty little cafe located at the back of the fishing shop. Small menu but delicious food. We got the bacon bagel and the yogurt. Coffee was also good! Friendly staff. The place is small, just few tables available inside and a few more outside. It opens at 8am.
Unfortunately this cafe has changed quite significantly. It has returned to its original premise of being a fishing tackle supplier - which is fine, but it now lacks that individuality that encouraged the customer to impulse buy its unique gifts. The cafe still supplies many of the yummy foods, but what a price hike! And the coffee, I'm sorry to say is way too hot, thus drowning the taste of coffee while burning the taste buds mercilessly.nI honestly can't recommend this place any more.
Cafe ownership/staff changed since our last visit. Less inside seating, sweet treats still the same but more limited savoury cabinet selection. Coffee was good but service not that friendly from one lady. Wouldn't rush back
Small cozy cafe with the best coffee, breakfast and a great welcome. I can highly recommend
We had the most beautiful two days fishing with Jason and Hamish around Lake Taupo in NZ. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of a guide! Truly unforgettable experience!
