Ordered dinner here a few weeks ago and it was the best fish and chips I've had! The fish was a little smaller than other places but was so much more nicer. The chips would have to be one of the best places to get chips , usually I don't like reheating them if there are leftovers as it can make them go yuck but these were delicious even being reheated! I highly reccomend coming here and will have to stop by more often. Was a decent amount for a scoop of chips also!
Fantastic value and cooked perfectly! Beaut crunchy batter on the large piece's of fish, half a scoop of chips would have been plenty for 2 ppl. We are from out of town, read the reviews and were definitely impressed.
Best fish and chips I've had in Ashburton. Fish was fresh with a well drained golden grunchy batter. Great tasting and generous serving.
Better than Netherby!! Big scoops, $4.20 for a scoop of chips. GREAT seasoning, good texture. No complaints.
A nice feed of fish and chips, tasted good ,chips were light and fluffy and fish was very fresh. The only thing I can say is that they were a little oily for me otherwise great
