We found this place on the way to the Ashburton NZMCA camp. Highly recommend the fish and chips here, the chips were crisp and cooked in clean oil, a half portion just right for 2 people. We had scallops, again, beautifully cooked, corn nuggets and a piece of fish. If I had any niggles the fish filet was very thin but I suspect they don't filet their own fish.nThe staff were all lovely and the service was excellent. Eat here, you won't regret it.

Great service. Friendly, honest and fair dinkum. The decor could do with some personal touch and is a little too functional. Yet I prefer the deals I get across the menu over any other in Ashburton and I have been around
Service fantastic . Lovely owners food is always hot my absolute favourite fish and chips shop . Value for money .
