Betts & Cranfield did an expectational job for me when renovating my kitchen and dining area back in December. They worked around the clock to ensure they completed in time for Christmas. From the first consultation to the final day of construction they have gone above and beyond to create a stress free experience. Workmen were polite and hard working and were always happy to answer any questions and queries. They guided me through the process seamlessly. I would rate them 10/10 for the professional service I experienced. I couldn't recommend this company enough. They delivered exactly what I wanted and more!
I never really leave reviews for anything, however these guys did such a fantastic job on a small extension for me, that i felt I needed to, especially with them being a small local business. Reading some of the other reviews though, I'm really shocked. I mean it's quite clear that it's just 1 complaint coming from people known to each other, even so still not nice. They were nothing but polite, professional and extremely reliable for me. Very efficient time keeping, and always kept me up to date on the progress of the job being done. I would not hesitate to have them do more work in the future, and would take great pride in recommending them to others.
I approached Betts and Cranfield due to the numerous recommendations I had seen on Facebook. Looking for a full refurb on my new house to replace the kitchen and all woodwork and doors, Jamie came to my house very promptly to price the job. He was instrumental in designing my kitchen and providing great advice on what would work best. Jamie's attention to detail was second to none and I was absolutely delighted with the quality of work throughout. Due to the fantastic experience I had with B&C I called them back to quote for a second job, my garden renovation. Kieron provided me with a very competitive price for such a large job and again talked me through the best designs to the challenges I faced with a split level garden. Again the work carried out by himself and Jimmy was outstanding, and although a lot of manual work, did not cut corners or take the easy route. My garden now looks amazing and I couldn't be more pleased. All three guys who worked on my house were genuine, honest and hardworking, and very approachable when I changed my mind on some designs at the last minute. Without hesitation I would recommend these guys to anyone looking for a top quality, professional job.
I moved into my house in 2016 and I wanted to do quite a few renovations I look round and had a few quotes from different builders but the one that impressed me the most was Betts and Cranfield so I chose to go with this building company over the last 4 1/2 years they have totally renovated my whole house to a standard that was really good the last thing I have just had done was last summer was a big extension on the back extending the back of the house, given me a really good size kitchen I found all the members of this team really helpful polite and they worked tirelessly to get my extension finish for me , I can’t praise them enough because now my house is complete and it’s a really happy home and it’s exactly how I want it . I would recommend this company to anybody that asks and if you want pictures I’m more than happy to send And for me they were Worth every one of those five stars.
We have used Betts and Cranfeild for years from small jobs to full on extensions. In fact we always recommend only these guys to anyone we speak to that require building work. You will not find another company that offer such attention to detail, ideas and a real genuine passion for the job. Keep up the good work!
My family and I have used Betts and Cranfield on several occasions. They always produce a fantastic end result, whether it be a small carpentry job or an entire house extension. I will not hesitate to call on your assistance again!
We have used Betts and Cranfield for years and have found them to produce excellent results and work tidily and with the utmost concern for the client. I am shocked to see that they have been the victims of a scurrilous attack by unprincipled and immoral individuals who have never been clients of the Company. The good news it that the discerning client who is seeking a builder with excellent credentials and a proven track record of outstanding work will be able to see through the 'noise of the incoherent, babbling gang' who failed to graduate from the school playground.
Betts and Cranfield have completed several jobs for me and my company. They built a new house in Welshwood Park Rd Colchester. They remodelled and extended another large home. They fitted out and completely redesigned 2 of my commercial premises and extensively remodelled another house in Stanway as well as many more smaller jobs. I have never found fault with the workmanship in any of these jobs , which is why I am astounded to read the blatant slanderous attempt by one of his clients and their friends to try and take his business down over a dispute, by issuing multiple 1 star reviews against a small company. Disgraceful behaviour and I hope Betts & Cranfield get their day in Court as in my experience its common for people to find fault when the aim is usually not to pay the bill!
These guys did a great job on my house two years putting a new bathroom and kitchen in to my property. The build quality was exceptional. No problems at all. Fast efficient with no mess.
Have had B&C do work on my biseness. From small jobs that have taken a hour or two and large jobs that have taken several days. Each job was done to a great standard with polite friendly service each and every time. 5 stars all the way.
