Susan was very kind, compassionate and patient with my French bulldog. He can be anxious around vets but she reassured him and took the time to get to know him and relax him before attempting to get a blood sample from him. The results were back the next day too! Susan is highly knowledge and I would highly recommend her to anyone.
We met Susan for the first time today, we live in Kent and travelled to Warsash, having had zoom calls and text messages over the past year with her. She has been treating Boo for Epilepsy and a skin allergy and he has made very good progress. She is kind, caring and very dedicated. Our local vet was happy to refer Boo to Susan at our request. I didn't want Boo to have conventional medication for the rest of his life to treat his epilepsy. Susan is treating him with a combination of homeopathy and herbal medicine. I feel very blessed to have found her for Boo.
My 9 1/2 year old labrador was diagnosed with arthritis 2 years ago. Since having treatment with Susan, his mobility has significantly improved and he has his spark back again. Susan has such a kind, gentle, reassuring manner and an incredibly calming presence, that I benefit from the sessions as much as my dog does! Her help and advice in all areas of my dogs health has been valuable. Highly recommended.
My dog Scooby is an eight year old Boxer who, just over a year ago, developed joint/arthritis type problems which caused him to limp slightly and slow down on his walks. I had previously used a holistic approach for another of my dogs which worked well so I wanted to go down this route again. I was introduced to Susan by a friend and she has been absolutely brilliant with Scooby. A combination of acupuncture and natural medication had improved his condition so much that he is enjoying his exercise again. Susan is a fantastic vet who takes time to understand each patient and treat them in a very relaxing and stress free environment. I would wholeheartedly recommend her.
We have two dogs receiving acupuncture with Susan: Bramble is nearly 15 and has bad arthritis in most of her joints. She also has Inflamatory Bowel Disease and cannot tolerate a lot of the conventional medicines. Since she’s been having acupuncture and homeopathy she has been able to get out for short walks and is much brighter. Callum is a 12 year old Springer Spaniel. He has a narrowing around the spinal cord at the base of his spine which is in a difficult position to operate on. Callum suffers from epilepsy, so the steroid injections into the base of his spine were risky because he tends to fit if sedated. Since he has been having acupuncture he has regained his youthful demeanour and is once more enjoying long walks and has not needed any further steroid injections.
An amazing experience for animal and owner with tremendous results. Quality time taken carefully to assess the animal and owner before treatment is given. We will continue to use Acupaws for our animals, just wish we had done it sooner.
