Whilst this is in general a good store, well stocked and the team are very friendly, I must call them out on one major issue!nnSome price labels do NOT match what you will actually pay!nnThis is obviously very concerning but sometimes understandable not saying acceptable! - high complexity stores, LOTS of very frequent price changes strategy mostly... but it is completely UNACCEPTABLE to see the same item carry a wrong label for weeks! See attached photo - $10.50 cheese rings in at $10.90!nnI always use self checkouts to make sure I pay what I should! and every single time ask the shopkeeper to do a price match overwrite in the system. That they do, they are very helpful, yet this discrepancy remains unresolved for weeks.nnI'm sure there are reasons, I do NOT think this is deliberate, but as a regular return customer I want to be able to fully rely on shelf labels.nnJust make it happen!
Nearest Grocery store in the Town. It is one of the quickest place where you can go to get your daily grocery needs.nNot the very cheap stuffs but you can get everything you need.nLook for specials for low cost food items.
Not the best supermarket we have visited. Lack of advertised specials. Staff very good though.
A great Woolies in Ashburton. I hadn't been to Ashburton for 58 years, it was great to find a Woolworths supermarket with everything I needed, the town has grown quiet a bit since my last visit in 1966.
Always a good and smooth experience.
