Ey up everything was clean tidy and in good order. The room was well furnished and had everything we needed for an overnighter. The beds were comfy and the linen immaculate. The staff were helpful and friendly. The perfect spot to stop when travelling with supermarkets and bottle store within walking distance - we recommend staying there if requiring a stop in Ashburton.
Overall seemed quite nice. Although my friend and I stayed there with our 3 children and taking fully responsibility that we are both smokers, we we're both accused of smoking in the room while we were there for 1 night..this is a absolute insult to the both of us as parents as we do not smoke in our homes nor would we anywhere else for that matter. 2 hrs after we left we received a phone call telling us that they had taken $100 due to us smoking in there.WE DID NOT DO SO. I admitted to smoking outside apon leaving we also did not see designated smoking signs either.. we proceeded to speak to the owner after to be told rudley that he would of charged us moor and that he had to pay for a carpet cleaner etc ...we kindly want to make visitors aware of this as they will take your money before any discussion!!! Very patronizing!! Both my friend and I have worked in this industry to we are not complaining for the sake it. Thank you readers
Very good value or money for our one night stay. Room was spacious and clean.
We checked in on the afternoon of 17 February and the reason I’m saying this is because of the wonderfully warm and welcome greeting. I also want to congratulate the cleaners because our room #3 was like new.nnWell appointed with a separate kitchen and shower / toilet, great hot water and being able to bring our dog made for the best stay in recent months. Other hoteliers and motel owners could learn a lot from from the Coronation Motel in terms of good value, great service and being pet friendly.
Super clean rooms. Camp kitchen seriously lacking in pots, cutlery, crockery.nGreat staff
