Cooks Beach Store

Two weeks touring New Zealand and we finally found a rude and unpleasant person. The store manager clearly does not want tourists patronising her little kingdom. Stock up on supplies before you get to Cooks beach and you'll have a great stay.

The yogurt I bought from the cooks beach store was past its use by 9 days. It's very annoying that the only store in the village stored an expired item for 9 days! Will never go back again!

spent many days of my childhood walking to the dairy to buy a bag of lollies - a shame how expensive and sparsely stocked it has become since new management - however the memories are something i will always cherish

Some bread supply issues on Sundays? Could be supply-chain related....

Great little well stoke general store

Went here during the Christmas holiday break. A bit pricey but it makes sense that they will take advantage of the fact that the JAFA's are in town for the holidays. Staff are very nice and friendly.

Sad. Fairly empty shelves etc.

It's the only grocery place in Cooks Beach. They stock a good range of products and always seem to have enough of everything. They do Ponsonby Pies but get in early in the summer because they run out fast. The line is always so quite long in summer but they get through it real quick. Great place for a quick shop or those couple of things you forgot before getting into town.

Great little store where you can find just about anything you need!
