On holiday and looked at reviews, not wrong would be the best fish and chips I have ever had. Snapper so fresh and great size. Beautiful batter and chips great. Ordered 3 fish got 4 and 3 mussels and got 4. Nice clean shop and could see some of the cooking. Happy staff. Perfect had on the beach less than 100 meters away. Felt like going back and getting more but too full. Good price. Thank you!!

Service was friendly and wait time was good. Chips were fantastic but the Fish while tasty was greasy, it needed to be drained MUCH longer. Hotdog??? it wasn’t, it turned out to be a curry roll, so only 1 for getting the order right. For what you get, the price is high! 2 fish tarakihi, 1 hotdog $2 chips and a very basic cheeseburger Total $30.

Went here to get some diner. I ordered fish, chips and a hot dog which were great. The fish was dory which was very good. The hot dog also came on a stick which I like. The service here was also very quick and friendly. Overall I'd recomend coming here.Food: 5/5

Really friendly chill service - lovey lady taking orders. Had the grilled fresh snapper 10/10, kumara fries and hot chips - all so good and crispy.

My partner and I passed through on holiday. The BEST CHEESEBURGER plus chips for only $8. Our mouths still water thinking about it. Best value and taste for something we barely had to wait 5 minutes for.Food: 5/5

Had fish and chips from this store. Great, fresh fish beautifully cooked, very prompt and exactly on the estimated time. Generous portions. Friendly and attentive service as well. Reasonably priced as well....can't recommend highly enough!

Sadly our fish n chips were not good. The oil is old and needed changing. No other fish left but Hoki which is also old. Sorry guys, the service was good but our Kai below average.

My husband and son stayed one night in Whitanga, went and brought fish and chips from Buffalo Beach Takeaways, they had a wonderful meal cooked really nice, far too much for them to eat, but they tell me it was the best fish and chips they have had for a long time.

We went here for a quick bite. It can get a little busy but doesn’t take too long, and is reasonably priced.

Brought fish, scallops, mussels, hot dogs, chips and chicken satay burger. Wow was so delicious, very generous servings and great service we will be back.
