Story

Made for Serious Cookie Munchers, Cookie Time is a classic Kiwi icon, synonymous for more than 30 years with real ingredients, quality, taste and value. Some 70 jars of Original Chocolate Chunk Cookies were delivered to 70 Christchurch dairies on the first day of business, 7 February 1983. Kiwis quickly fell in love with this giant taste of happiness and the love affair has been ongoing.

Cookie Time is fronted by the loveable Cookie Muncher character – fun, mischievous and sooo crazy about cookies. Cookie Time cookies are sold in dairies and supermarkets nationwide. Cookie Muncher also has his very own place in Cookie Time’s flagship Cookie Muncher Cookie Bar in Queenstown, plus the first international Cookie Bar, opened in Harajuku, Tokyo in December 2013. A Cookie Muncher pop-up kiosk was also opened in the Auckland Airport international terminal in November 2015.

The Cookie Bars complement the online store – www.cookiebar.co.nz – and offer a fresh take on the Cookie Time brand with a range of new packaging formats, including cute Cookie Boxes, Heart-Shaped Tins, Milk Cartons and Milk Bottles. Plus gift merchandise from t-shirts and hoodies to playing cards and temporary tattoos. Also available are Postcard Cookies – a Cookie and personal message sent in a cute Cookie Muncher box, anywhere in the world, for just $10, postage included.
