A good place for a solidly decent meal, and family friendly. The kids menu is always good for my fussy child. They do a taco platter which is good for groups. They have a range of Good George beers and ciders on tap. Upstairs they have a decent space for a party which can be booked. We’ve used it for a few birthdays. The toilets are down some stairs and are tucked away.
A good bar in Hamilton east for drinks and food. The service and the quiz night they run is amazing. Staff members are also polite and respectful, Mani looked after us very well last night. Thanks team
Awesome service, good food...good following of COVID protocols. Not wheelchair accessible unless you ask at the moment due to only one entrance being open to follow COVID restrictions...but just ask in advance and the awesome staff will sort it for youEverything is clean and inviting. Totally recommend, especially two for one pizza nights on a Tuesday! Great environment guys! Well done
Had dinner here tonight with family. My Marguerita pizza was delicious and hot and a good size as seen in photo, as was my triple ice cream sundae. Not sure about the candy floss whatever on top of sundae. Certainly wasnt really what i expected. BB burger ordered wasnt that great, very plastic tasting and neither was the sampler food platter as it was all deep fried. However on a positive note the service was second to none. Friendly, efficient staff who came over to table a few times to ask if we were ok and did we need anything else. Would go here again but would order something different to burger etc.
Average food compared to past visits pre Covid. Good staff. Flexible with menu items. But too much salt on chips etc. Also fresh basil on margherita pizza would be better than sauce.
Great Atmosphere child friendly, with awesome Bento Box for children they ate it all will definitely be back. Oh the pork bites were fricken great.
The Cook is our go to location in Hamilton. They have a sweet quiz on Monday nights. A good 5km fun run on Tuesdays. Staff are very friendly and accomodating. Food is always quick and exactly as you expect. Good George brewery on tap, good to enjoy cold Cider on tap.
We went here last week- it was horrendous. There was no cutlery, plates or napkins so we were expected to load up our meagre taco shells between 10 people with no serving spoons, etc. and juggle it in your hands. We couldn't even get a caraf of water because there was no staff about. There plenty of competition out there with better service, food and ambiance. I won't be visiting here again.
Had the fish and chip meal. Very disappointed with your meal batter on the fish was dark brown and soggy. The salad appeared to be thrown onto our plates and didn't realize that salad consisted of just lettuce and a cherry tomato cut in half. The fish and chip meal at good George in frankton was far superior. I won't be coming back
Had a end of year gathering here. Staff were very busy, helpful. I ordered the chicken salad - was ok. Good atmosphere, nice place to hang out. Would recommend.
