Not a huge choice on the menu but the beef and fish burgers were very nice and a good size. The steak sandwich was also enjoyed. Service was very good on a busy Easter holiday despite them seemingly have reduced staff due to the lack of tourists.
While staying at Fox Glacier we made several trips to the cafe. It is a lovely place with great atmosphere - the staff there are excellent. We'd happily recommend the Cook Saddle and will return again.

Lovely staff, excellent food. There wasn't a huge selection on the menu, but that made it much easier to choose what to eat for two indecisive people. The chocolate mudcake for dessert was enormous!
Really friendly fellow, his shop was well stocked. Wish him luck.
