Common Ground Cafe

I love common ground, not just for the delicious food and coffee. But also the great atmosphere. Its the perfect place to work or study, or hang out after going to the library. The staff are always friendly regardless of how rushed off their feet they are! Best cheese scones in Wellington, and fantastic hazelnut lattes. Never disappointed.

It’s not often you find a cafe that ticks all the boxes; friendly staff, great atmosphere, good food and amazing coffee. The service was quick but more importantly it was done with a smile. They have a great selection of vegan foods, and what I’ve tried so far has been delicious so I look forward to going back to try the rest. Common Ground is a must visit, even if you aren’t local, it’s well worth the trip out to Johnsonville.

Every time I check out this Cafe, it's very busy. Today, we got a table outside and it was better there to catch up with my friend as it was quiet compared to dining inside the Cafe. The food was divine. Enjoyed every morsel of my choice. Vegetarian options: There were good vegan and vegetarian options. Kid-friendliness: I saw a lot of families enjoying their time at the Cafe, some of them came from Johnsonville Pool or just visited the library. Parking: I didn't check the library parking, but parked at the Johnsonville Mall carpark, which is across the road.

All the food we ordered were delicious, full of flavour and well cooked. The service was great and very welcoming. Very cozy and comfortable place. I definitely recommend.

Lovely little cafe inside the library. Lots of dietary options for vegetarians and vegans. Could expand the menu a little bit more to provide plant based variations on standard menu items. Place is warm, there are a lot of tables, and you can browse the magazines in the library while you wait.

My favourite local cafe for brunch or a coffee and muffin. Delicious food!! Family friendly, great atmosphere and they always have such beautiful flower arrangements!!

Wonderful atmosphere with cheerful and helpful staff. Coffee is delicious and very reasonably priced. The Bang Bang Chicken is excellent and they do a takeaway- which will feed 2 adults. I highly recommend this Café for a perfect place to gather with friends and enjoy an amazing experience. Best in Johnsonville by a mile

Common ground cafe brings the delicious food to the people in Johnsonville. The food I ordered was excellent, coffee was strong and smooth. The place is nice, staff were friendly and efficient. Definitely recommended
