We had cocktails, wine and dinner which was delicious and amazing. The popcorn prawns were perfect and the pork belly was mouth watering. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone staying in Nelson 10/10!!! Thanks Mama Cod :
Quite frankly, one of the best restaurants around. Beautiful food, generous portions, immaculate presentation and interesting, fresh flavours. Brilliant service and friendly staff. The thrice cooked fries are to die for, and the chocolate tart is superb. Our table of seven all ordered different food and no-one was disappointed.
Beautiful spot. The most amazing menu. There is so many different cocktails and types of Gin you would need a month to get through them. Friendly staff, quick service. Photo is of an amazing pink grapefruit vodka martini.
Great bar with a huge range of gins. Friendly staff. Highly recommend when in Nelson, especially on a sunny day when you can sit outside.

Amaing cocktails and the fresh oyster was the highlight. Highly recommended for late afternoon drinks and something light. Definitely coming back when in Nelson next.
5/5 isn’t even enough. An outstanding afternoon with divine food, cocktails and service. Darragh and Emily are brilliant, a lucky to have them in Nelson- a huge loss for Dublin and Liverpool! The food is beyond words, it is that good. You must come to Mama Cod. Love the atmosphere and lovely staff. Will be back again soon.
