Thought it would be noisy on the main road, but it wasn't. Awesome water pressure in the shower. Like having a massage. Would stay there again. Rooms: Clean and tidy.
Nice motel a little bit dated but still has decor that works,staff are very friendly service is great, very clean, I stay here for work on occasions. The only thing I can fault is parking is a little tight for a bigger vehicle i.e a Ute. And some of the rooms don't have appropriate cooking facility's if that is what is needed but they all have a microwave oven,and is a very fair price for a stay for one night or a few. Nearby activities: Skiing,nature walks,scenery Walkability: Close to the town centre,and nature walks.
Good location short walk over the road for dinner rustic steak restruant or 15 Min walk to main shops. Rooms: Clean and tidy .
The customer service was very poor ,I'm moving from Auckland needing somewhere to stay and this lady was absolutely rude and wouldn't allow me to pay a room because I have a child who is under 2yearsRooms: 1/5
Very clean. Friendly staff. Great room. Nearby activities: Had a great time at the Museum and the Rotary Market at Memorial Park. We will visit again
Very clean and tidy, this was a high standard. Warm room, great heater. Bed was comfy, pillows were great. Really good cooking utensils, plates knives and forks. Hotel on outside presented well. Had a great and quiet sleep. I would only recommend having a guest laundry. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Good for the price.Rooms: 5/5

Worst horst ever. Lady in office is extremely rude and takes no responsibility for her wrong doings. She always has something to say to shift the blame onto anyone else but herself. Says I was mucking around, do you call me breastfeeding my newborn son mucking around? Highly do not recommend! She is very nasty. We ended up staying at Taihape motel and the lady there was so much more welcoming and very lovely.
Very comfortable and warm! Cute little accommodation - after the accommodation we had put up with prior to arriving, Coachman was definitely what we were needing! Did notice some motorway noise but it isn't bad unless you're a light sleeper, worse case scenario - there are ear plugs provided in bedside drawer. I absolutely loved the cupboard for the jugs, cups and tea/coffee supplies - it's out of the way and you wouldn't know that it was there unless you looked! Only downside was having to go to the loo and walk on the cold tiles! I just put socks on and that fixed that problem, it was quite refreshing when I wasn't in socks though About 100m away fromthe Taihape Gumboot and 2min drive to town. All in all a great stopover and relaxing stay. Thank you very much for a comfy stay!
