I developed an interest in photography in my early 20’s when I purchased my first camera in the UK.
I had a lot of fun with it, but never really progressed beyond what I would now call “Snaps”
Progressing through several different cameras, I ended up with a Canon SLR film camera, and this is when I started to pay more attention to my photography.
Moving to New Zealand opened up a whole new world of imagery to me, and my love of landscape photography was born.
Photography was always just a “hobby” but as time went by, I talked to many like-minded people, and realised it is actually more than a hobby - it is a passion.
My passion has developed over the last few years, and now encompasses Portrait as well as Landscape photography.
Having completed my Diploma in Professional Photography, with the Photography Institute, I am still continuing to up-skill, and attend courses whenever possible.
Portraiture is now a keen area for me, and I have teamed up with my wife, Lynn, who is a make-up artist, and we are able to offer a combined make-over and portrait shoot to our clients.
