Love this NW. Always find staff friendly and helpful. Well stocked. Prices are competitive, some cld say dearer. But into today's economy everything is dearer.
As tourists, we didn’t know we had to specifically provide our passport to purchase alcohol, no other forms of ID allowed. So when my wife provided her driving license to the store supervisor for the purchase, the supervisor picked up her driving license, said “we don’t accept this” and dropped her license on the table in a flippant manner. How rude is that?!
Eyewateringly expensive! I paid $14.50 for a dozen eggs and 2 tomatoes. Obviously luxurious items today. Maybe I should stick to caviar!
If I could give them no star I would. I asked if they had a particular item in stock I had already looked the supervisor that was at self service kiosks at 1.50pm 24th July 2022 told me to go look and I said I did and couldn't find them however I know new world does stock the item. She didn't check a computer to search for it at all so I walked away and went to countdown. I will not be back rude as anything.
Always nice and quiet. Staff very friendly.
Great staff and good produce but they NEVER have any bread. It doesn’t matter what time of day or day of the week I try. I can never do a full grocery shop here.
I've shopped at 3 different supermarket chains in the last two weeks. Used to be quite loyal to my old one. Well that's changed now. Great service, lots of space and prices are actually pretty good. We will be back. Thank you!
