Staffys, Pitbulls, Bullys and their X's are often over looked because of their looks and media hype.
Bull breed dogs are NOT killers. They are loving, loyal, gentle souls that just need the right owner and lots of love.

A charity that does an excellent job for our 4-legged best friends.
This had to be the best little rescue in the South Island. A community feel with a lot of community help. Volunteers are the backbone of this rescue. As the name suggests, it's all about Bull Breed dogs and, at times, other breeds. The team here work so hard to ensure that these dogs with "colourful" pasts are given the training and rehabilitation they require. More than often unfortunately alot of these dogs need medical help, and what they require can, at times, be very expensive. Funds are raised by the team and the community. It's unfortunate that big businesses don't seem to want to help, but without small businesses, the rescue would not have survived. If you want to help please go to their website. Foster homes are always required. The team here are so dam awesome, and you can tell their hearts are in it. Thanks, team, for everything you do, for advocating for the often misrepresented loveable Bull Breed.
I have not been to the Rescue, but I'v heard only great things they do to help an awesome intelligent breed of dog that is misunderstood & vulnerable to abuse, especially by people who think "it's cool to own a Pitbull". Last night I seen on the news, a story about the Mastiff "Buddy" being stolen by some random scumbag! I will offer a financial REWARD for any info leading to Buddy's safe return. Hit me up CBBR. Update: Awesome to hear Buddy has been found & returned safe & sound! Godspeed!
I donated a few items from my recently passed pooch. The lady was super lovely and the place is well set up. I even got to see super happy dogs from a distance. This is an amazing organization that helps those who's voices aren't hurt. Thank you for rescuing all the dogs who deserve a second chance.
Fantastic people doing a fantastic job. Went to do some research on rehoming, didnt even need to ask questions, everything I was going to ask was talked about. Haven't taking possession of a dog yet, but definitely going to. AAA+++
Great organisation who cares for the misunderstood breeds.
Amazing organization, the owners work is endless and will do most anything to save these amazing dogs from severe situations of abuse and neglect.
