Chocolate Frog Cafe

Fantastic experience for lunch today. The place was packed but the waitress was extremely onto it clearing a space for us. Food came out quick and everything was 10/10. Fair prices and great atmosphere and the perfect spot for a classic kiwi cafe lunch.

Updated 01/06/2023 So good I had to come back for their Scones, Keto Benny, and their Caramelised Onion & Cheese Toastie. This time, I had the toastie with Sourdough Bread 2nd order. Super delish and satisfying Loved the vibe of the place and definitely the friendly staff who obliged my requests for "extra toasted, extra chocolaty and extra butter." The Date Scones, extra toasted was so so so good. OMG. Heaven in my mouth. The Keto Benny with Cheesy Muffin was also very, very good. The cheesy fragrant was wafting the air. Had these with a side of black pudding too. Very good. And greedy me also got a Bacon, Cheese and Caramelised Onion Toastie. The Caramelised Onions were da bombs. Best I ever tasted ever!!! Thanks fit a fantastic meal!!

Really nice cafe.. The chocolate cake was yumm.. I had the soup of the day which was pumpkin n was delicious ..The service was quick even though it was fully packed..will definitely return to try out other things in the menu

Busy Sunday lunchtime. Very tasty creamy garlic mushrooms and bacon on ciabatta. No water bottles but there were plastic cups and a water tap, so all goodFood: 5/5

Awesome cafe, super busy when I went but there was hardly a wait for food. Burger was delicious and came with loads of fries well worth it! Despite how busy they were the workers all maintained their composure. The tables took a little while to be cleared but with how busy they were is to be expected. Keep up the good work!Food: 5/5

I usually come here for brunch and lunch. The parking lot is spacious, making it very convenient to park, which I really like. It's difficult to find parking around this area, so I appreciate having a place like this with good parking. The food is delicious and satisfying, and the atmosphere is pleasant.Food: 5/5

Heading out to the airport, I called into Palmers at Mirimar for a coffee to fill in some time. Palmers is a lovely shop with great gift ideas. The Chocolate Frog is still a great cafe, great service, and still have great coffee. No food with my coffee order to go, but their iced Chocolate looked yummy.

Wow! Always busy. We had drinks and meals, impressed with service and no long delays, indoor and outdoor covered in from weather dining. Nice place in the garden centre.Food: 4/5

Gluten free scones and excellent espresso. Ticks all my boxes. So good I got seconds!! Colleague couldn't fault the full cooked breakfast. Definitely return next time I'm in Miramar.
