A French name, a Japanese massage therapist doing a 90 minutes Swedish massage, which was a gift for this Indo-Kiwi from my daughters and son-in-law based in Australia- all combined to make a wonderfully relaxing and rejuvenating experience! Highly recommended.
My friends and I booked in for 6 of us to get facials & massages as a group to celebrate our birthdays and we had the most amazing experience. Leading up to our booking, the staff were the most accommodating to work with. We were looked after so well, from as soon as we walked through the door, to leaving after our treatments. One of the best spa experiences I have ever had. A massive thank you to the team and we will definitely be back.
I booked a massage for my long distance boyfriend as a surprise. The receptionist was so accommodating and helpful, and even helped me print out a letter and presented it in a beautiful way for my boyfriend. My boyfriend was really happy about the massage and the therapist was very professional and helped him relieve all the tension. It was so good that he wished he could have it everyday! 2 Beautiful building and the ladies that work there are very accommodating and genuinely nice. It's a lovely atmosphere and they make you feel quite comfortable while you're waiting. My massage was good, it was nice enough but the massage table was quite uncomfortable - I'm not overly large, but I felt like I was too big for the table. I wasn't able to comfortably rest my arms by my side which meant I had to hold them in an awkward position which took away from the overall experience. My arms were tense the entire time which is quite counterproductive when paying for a relaxing experience. I frequently get massages from another Spa in town but I wanted to try Champs due to the amazing things I had heard. Maybe my expectations were too high but I left feeling mildly dissatisfied. Also, the lovely therapist who was working on me had to excuse herself mid treatment for a moment or two which didn't really help my ongoing inability to relax. She apologized for excusing herself and I understand that we're all human and these things happen. I did feel overall that the treatment was lacking something. I hope to increase my rating and update my review if I make it back for another treatment. The treatment wasn't overly pricey so I guess you get what you pay for.
I had a lovely facial. My skin is sensitive so the therapist picked out exactly the correct products to use on my face & sent me away with some samples to try. I'm not petite so I felt the bed was comfy and the room surroundings & music were relaxing. Lovely welcoming staff who look after you. I had my 40th birthday there 6yrs ago. It was my first time at Spa. I loved it, it was so nice to be pampered. I spent the morning there my two younger sisters. The middle sister is Aussie so we had hers over there.My youngest sister is 40 in December so I am organizing a similar day for her. I strongly recommend Champs-Élysees Day Spa. You leave feeling like Queen
Had a beautiful full body massage. I've never had one before. The spa is a beautiful building and the girls there made me feel real special. It was a wonderful birthday gift from my daughter. Everything was top class. Thank you .
Was gifted a $750 voucher as a thank you , but did not think it was worth the value . My nail polish came off as soon as I went to leave . My cuticles where not cut. Which surprised me. I will say staff are lovely and building is amazing. But I felt that you dont get alot for the value of the voucher , came out feeling underwhelmed , and disappointed as it was a gift from my mother and father as a thank you for looking after my mother before she passed .
Beautiful location and friendly staff. Was booked in for a petite pedicure and essential facial. Found it a little odd that we didn't discuss my skin type or skin concerns prior, just got straight into the facial after she asked what skincare brand I used. No offers or suggestions to any products that I might find helpful either at any stage. Facial was very relaxing and my skin is quite soft the day after, but it just didn't quite live up to my expectations which may be my fault. Quite dissapointed with the luxury petite pedicure, for $65 it was performed whilst on the facial chair so no foot bath or anything, just a cuticle job, buff, 2 minute massage and a polish. I don't feel like it is value for money, especially since the next day a few of my toenails have already been ruined from the polish layers being too thick and not allowed to dry long enough between coats I think. Just wearing closed toe shoes the next day after being careful the previous day led to both big toes having screwed up polish which is a bit disappointing. Overall, I do think it's worth a visit as it is truly a lovely ambiance and setting but probably won't be back for those particular services.
The setting is fantastic and the service was impressively good. It really helps you relax and feels like an amazing treat. I took my friend the day before her wedding and they helped her relax and feel special.
