Challenge Waimak is a 100% kiwi owned Petrol Station.

Story

Our independent service station just over the Old Waimakariri Bridge has been operating for well over 50 years providing excellent customer service and a wide range of services to our local community, as well as commercial businesses in the area.

Being situated in a residential and commercial catchment our customer base is varied, and so our services have to reflect that. Hot food and drinks form a strong part of shop business.

Our fully equipped workshop is available sixdays per week to service and repair all types of motor vehicles.

We also have 100+ octane race gas.

Our community is our lifeblood. While we do get many customers from out of the area, our locals are what we represent. To that end we try to give as much back by way of sponsorship and local initiatives.

Excellent friendly service from lovely staff. Range of fuels and motoring supplies, as well as snack foods. Very good fuel discounts, every time I go there, and not limited to fixed amounts of fuel. I was able to get extra discount on my gold card. My go to fuel supplier in Kaiapoi. Recommend you give it a try.
The girl at the desk helped me out of a pickle and was absolutely lovely the entire hour I was stranded at the station. She was fantastic and I can’t thank her enough for her help.
WONT BE BACK!!! Asked girl at service desk, to check my oil. With a surprised look on her face. " YOU WANT ME TO CHECK YOUR OIL!?. YES, I SAID. She went to my car with hood up and gazed in. She had no idea where to look, asked ME if I had a tissue. I said "No thats your job. On checking the dipstickyou know which one I mean, she said "I don't know how much oil you need". I guessed for her, she gets the oil and then said." I might spill it". "Have you got a funnel" I said. No, she said. You do it and then walked away. Obviously I won't be back with poor service like that.

I like going here.Good people and good fuel at good prices. Conveniently situated just outside of town.jJust a small station with a few supplies for traveling but that's all I need. Not far from the motorway and between Christchurch and Kaiapoi near the Waimak River
Geoff and the team are great to deal with, if you want your either your classic or yank tank WOF or serviced you are dealing with passionate guys owners who care about your wheels as if it was there own!
Another good service station on a busy by-way. Cheap fuel for OVER 65's with a permanent discount of 15c per litre irrespective of how much or how little .... better than what the "others" offer
The fuel here was of the highest quality. It kept my car going for a very long time. Cheap prices and great costumer service!
Always happy with the discount I get from Challenge as an over 65year old
