Great experience on Wednesday 28th at that location in the evening. The two gentlemen on duty gave me excellent feedback and some inspiration on how to save and make more money. These two men deserve commendations. My only recommendation is to not call business customers "mate", it's informal but more importantly overused in New Zealand. This is NOT Australia! I felt like I was in Finding Nemo for an instant, with those bloody and annoying seagulls squawking all the way: "Mate, mate, mate".
Experienced very bad behaviour from the Manager when I went for gas bottle filling. The site Manager was super angry on me When I asked the amount of LPG they filled it in my bottle. And they said they don’t wanna tell it to the customers and he was forcing me to pay extra for knowing the amount of LPG filled!!! Not RECOMMENDED.
Great station on Blenheim Rd with sushi and Subway attached to it. You can access them from Caltex shop or from outside. There are enough pumps and wash for customers. Staff is friendly and helpful. You can buy food drinks and some basics for your car or home. You can rent trailer for reasonable price. They have as well station to refill your bbq gas bottle. Since petrol price is pretty much same in every station Caltex, Z, BP etc. can’t really say it’s the cheapest. Otherwise good station.

Air pump not working, diesel contamination in window washer water went to clean my windscreen and seen the oiliness smear as I tried to use the brush. Had to then clean with paper towels and clean water the best I could. Not impressed. Normally the attendant should have been watching to ensure proper use of facilities, but even if they missed seeing it, surely an hourly max check of the the window washer buckets would have picked up the oil floating in the washer water.
Poor service from the tall Maori lady, just pure rudeness. Why did you hire such an ignorant person?
I would not normally post comments about places but my experience tonight has left me severely disgusted by the service. If I could give a zero star rating I would. We visited about 9.30pm and my mum went in to pay. We don’t normally don’t visit this Caltex, there was no where to pay on pump except via an app which we did not have downloaded, so my mum went into pay. Was told prepay first which my mum had gone in to do and staff member said “you can stand there all night, I wont open the tank” nothing else, honestly disgusting! Go to the hornby Caltex they are lovely.
Need more staff seriously long wait for food and coffee.not the sole staff members fault
Good peps at the counter love them
Took ages to fill up a 2kg gas bottle been wait about 15 min or more for it.
