Last minute choice and it turned out to be well worth it....excellent food and very good service....we had the lamb shanks and veal in a masala wine sauce both of which were very good and followed up with a lemon tart which was a very generous size....recommended

Had a fantastic evening. Best food and wonderful staff. The atmosphere within the restaurant felt very friendly and inviting.
Had a feeling that the waitress wasn't in her best day. Quite blunt and not friendly, but she wasn't rude. Food took a very long time to come, I'd say about an hour or more. However, it was good food and a lot of it. Thumbs up for lady at the till I think she was the owner, very polite and friendly. Would go back to try again.
Absolutely amazing food. Authentic Italian taste right in the heart of Christchurch. Very popular restaurant so I would book a table. We came in hungry and left very full. Larger than expected portion sizes, we were so stuffed we had to take leftovers with us. Vegetarian food available, which is amazing.
Absolutely loved our last minute date here. The staff were lovely, and the food was incredible! I think the chefs speciality bread was our favourite, we couldn't stop eating it. The portions were a generous size, everything packed full of flavour. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

Always a great experience here. Delicious food, really generous portions and service is excellent. Everything tastes really fresh and authentic and like all the ingredients are top quality. Prices are fair too. Would definitely recommend if you're into Italian - the Maialona pizza is something else!
