Good pub grub and nice pub atmosphere. Fish & steak burger with chips good value for money

Big thanks to 'D' she made it feel like home and part of the family. my first meal just blew me away, I had to get another. Had the tower burger.2nd night had scotch fillet, and scallops... best meals I've eaten out for 20 years. I would drive 3 hours just get a kai from here. Thankyou grand te Aroha, hope to be back soon. No photos kai was too yummy

Just had lunch at The Grand Tavern today, my partner had the Surf and Turf and I had the Curry of the day the day, I asked for Indian Spicy not Kiwi Spicy...OMG absolutely delicious.. COMPLIMENTS TO THE CHEF..

Lovely meals with excellently big portions. Price is great for what ya get. Bar is in the restaurant and pool table or pokies in the other rooms, while you wait. Staff are very friendly and smiles all around, lovely too be round. Had a awesome time, we LL be back here again.

Nice pub, the usual local watering hole in a small town.

Nice selection of basic meals at great prices. Friendly service. Clean and tidy.

Stopped in the public bar and had a couple of cold ones then went to the restaurant for a meal Was not disappointed well done Can't wait to go back and try something else on the menu

Absolutely best kai we have had in years! I've never seen my husband eat mussels so fast! We have been here a few times and these meals are amazing every single time. Thank you Te Aroha Tavern
