Wedding Planning

Having worked in the wedding industry for venues for years I have had the privilege of helping over 300 couples on their journey down the aisle.

The first reaction of many couples in the initial planning is excitement, quickly followed by bewilderment. For many, this will be the single biggest event they will ever organize. And life won't stop while they get everything in order either they will still have to maintain their work, study, home and family life too.

I love being able to help couples at this early stage by meeting with them for a planning meeting. By working through some initial questions we can establish a theme, the main priorities and a sense of the overall feeling they want to create on the day. Getting this framework into place makes all the rest of the decision-making so much easier.

I can then recommend preferred suppliers for my couples for everything from photography to venues. These personal recommendations are based on years of experience working in the wedding industry so I know they will be reliable, professional and produce good quality work. I then present my couples with some amazing customised planning tools that will help them sail through the planning process.

Wedding Celebrant
The first step in planning a unique ceremony is getting to know the couple. This gives me an idea of their sense of humour their priorities and their relationship and is the perfect jumping off point for creating a unique ceremony.

I custom write each wedding ceremony and then discuss this with the couple and make amendments. Many couples feel pressurised to
have a traditional ceremony. They are unsure of the rules. The good news is there aren't actually that many! I totally love seeing a couple come to life as they realise we can create a unique ceremony that totally reflects who they are and fits in with the rest of their day.

Wedding ceremonies are such a melting pot of ideas and feelings, love, laughter, vulnerability, family tradition, culture, inside jokes and heartfelt vows. I love writing a ceremony that brings all of these elements together in perfect harmony.

On the day of the wedding, you can be assured I will be there early making sure everything is ready for the ceremony. I am a confident public speaker and would be happy to stand with you, support you and encourage you as we undertake one of the most significant moments of your life.
