Story

Calibre Taxidermy is a full service, taxidermy operation based out of Timaru in the proud hunting region of South Canterbury, New Zealand.
We export our trophies to all corners of the globe, from Dallas, Texas to Anchorage, Alaska even up State Highway One to beautiful Kaikoura.
In knowing that our work and these fine New Zealand exports are taking pride and place in basements, living rooms, garages,
restaurants and trophy rooms throughout the world keeps us highly motivated and very much on our toes.

Our accomplished team helps our customers preserve their New Zealand hunting experience for a lifetime.
We do this with meticulous attention to detail, passion and the natural beauty of the animal itself.
Whether it be a trophy stag, a 15lb West Coast brown or a Captain Cooker from the Ruahines we realise that a good mount,
like any piece of good art should tell one heck of a story about not only the hunt but the experience that surrounded it.
Our craft must not only reflect this but it must capture, preserve and respect the life and existence of the animal.
