We create one-of-a-kind cakes for all your special occasions. Our cakes are home-baked, delicious and artfully decorated. We work with you to determine the kind of cake you'd like, to make your celebration memorable.

We are two passionate bakers who have been baking and decorating cakes for many years. We have teamed up to provide decorated specialty cakes purely because we love it! We are excited to bring Cakes By The Ocean to Tairua, Pauanui and surrounding areas on the Coromandel. We look forward to help make your celebration wonderful.

We believe the Coromandel is a remarkable place for honouring life's special celebrations. We make cakes for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and more. A home-baked, hand-decorated cake is a wonderful way to include everyone in your special occasion. It looks great, tastes delicious and puts people in a festive mood! Special occasion cakes are a terrific talking point at any party and a beautiful way of showing just how much you care.

Pricing is determined on a cake by cake basis as no two cakes are the same. A cake cannot be constructed on a single day and even the simplest cake takes a minimum of 6 hours to construct. Pricing starts from $150.00.
