Stopped here for lunch on my way to Mt Cook Village. It was a nice sunny day. The garden was beautiful and the food was delicious. I had the tropical fruit drink with chia seeds, and it tasted fresh and refreshing
Accidentally stumbled on this place on our drive from Tekapo to Christchurch, and wow what a perfect lunch spot! The outdoor ambiance is like being in a fairy tale with the dense garden eating setup.nnThey lived up to their “Verde” name even more than all the plants with the green Nourish Bowl I got, which has the best hummus I’ve ever had that incorporate sweet potato. The BLT we got was also a standout take on the sandwich. Absolute recommend for a cafe brunch/lunch!
Highly recommend. Best cafe in Geraldine. Friendly and accomodating staff, great service and delicious fresh food/ great coffee and lovely atmosphere. The garden is a great setting. Will definitely stop her whenever passing through.
Amazing place to have lunch under the Sakura trees! Food was so fresh and delicious see pictures. Staffs works there were so friendly and welcoming too. Must go! 5 stars!!
The team from Bellbird Hearing held our annual Family Fun Day in Geraldine this year. We needed somewhere for a larger group lunch. Cafe Verde was strongly recommended by the locals and rightly so. The food was delicious: “best steak I’ve ever had” is a direct quote from one connoisseur. The staff were really accommodating for our group too and set us up with a nice private room. Well worth seeking this place out nestled behind the former post office building.
