Stumbled into this place on a whim. At first, the place seemed nice and the service seemed friendly. It seems like an American-style, blues/country sports bar which is ironic based on our service. I speak a small, but generally serviceable amount of French which I know is not their fault, we are in Paris, not UK/USA, but I quickly found the server would speak very fast, very aggressive French at me, without giving me a chance to try and digest what he was saying or even respond. He eventually ordered us a charcuterie board when I never once asked for one and I even stated to him in French that we did not want any food. After reading the other reviews, this clearly is a tactic they use to non-locals. They pressure non-native French speakers into ordering food while making absolutely zero effort to make sure we can communicate with one another. Again, I can speak decent French if given some time to digest what is being said and can respond, but he just barked at us. The food was not good, and it took a long time to arrive costing us a reservation at another restaurant and it made us not want to to order another drink even though we were planning on it. Overall, it made me want to leave the establishment. I asked for the bill in French and paid in cash and he seemed fine after that, but this is definitely a place that does not like tourists and will make you feel uncomfortable. I also read a prior review stating how much the owner hates Americans, which is ironic considering the bar is based on American blues music/BBQ and there are literally American license plates on the wall hahahaha Don't come if you are not a Parisian
Very well located in le marais, BBO bar had a nice terrace and the staff was pretty friendly! You can also watch sports game while enjoying some drinks with your friends. Food wise, it's OK, mainly bar food.
So we got here around 10pm and advised they dont close until 11. We figured time would not be an issue. Upon arrival we realized the people didnt speak much English, which is fine cause we are in France. We seemed to be very "pressured" and "forced" into ordering specific things quickly. Upon arrival of the food it seemed like all was good. If you see the pictures it shows the mustard/sauce they gave us was cover in mold. The lid had mold spores all around the rim and was completely disgusting. We didnt see this u Tim towards the end of our dinner. We didnt have the chance to say anything as they came and grabbed our plates and presented us with the check which was also pushy. I would not recommend this place to American travels as their English is limited nor would I recommend it to anyone due to the mold. If they cant take care of the sauce dishes how do we know the kitchen it self is even clean. Ew.

A big sign outside advertises happy hour times without any mention of particular days of the week, same on the menu, only to be told "no happy hours on weekends". The bar also cheats on the amount of beer being poured, so your pint is 80% beer and 20% foam. Add to that a waiter with an attitude, and you have every reason to avoid this place.
