This is such a nice wee Cafe. Only small, but the food was simply divine and the staff were so friendly. They clearly had some regulars too as they could greet people by name, which I thought was very cool.nnI had Vietnamese Crepes that were really yummy, but they had a great cabinet selection of sandwiches, homemade pies, very yummy custard squares and more. I also noticed they had a great menu board selection as well. Very well worth a visit!! I spent around 40 NZD, but I did buy extras to take away as well as a treat to share latern
Nice little family run business, more like a greasy joes than a cafe, which is by no way an insult. Seemed local focused which is good. Also happens to be the most expensive coffee at $5.50 for a small coffee, but I guess we all have to make a living, no wonder there’s such an uptake on the coffee club see pictures
Have been twice for breakfast at Cafe 9. The food is tasty and well cooked/presented. Coffee is good and hot. Order at the counter.nIf they are busy, food can take a while, but gives time to chat. .
On a way to Rotorua, we stopped over for what turned up to be a delicious coffee and breakfast.nAlthough place seems a low key, don’t get fooled by it. The quality of food and humble service will take you over.
