Food is very tasty and well presented including the yummy treats in the cabinet, and staff are always friendly and on the ball. My son and I have tried various other spots around Cambridge but keep coming back to Absolute. This place is our fave. Even managed to squeeze in a very short notice family brunch gathering for 16 people wherein the service was impeccable, as was the food. Thanks team - keep up the great work!
We arrived at about 12:50pm and there was a queue to order at the counter to be expectedat lunchtime. The served was friendly and happy to answer questions. The cafe was busy so there was about a 15min wait for food - worth it though. We ordered from the cabinet- 1 x beef pot pie and 1 x mince and cheese pie, both with a garden salad on the side. Pies were flavoursome with crisp pastry. Side salad was generous. Good value for money. We also had a custard slice heavenly. Lovely atmosphere with lots of seating options inside and out. As a bonus, dogs are allowed. Will definitely be back.
Have just enjoyed the most delicious lunch and not overly expensive either. It was presented in such a way, that you just knew the chef knows what he's about. Hubby had Seafood Chowder, and you could see the variety of fish in it, and I opted for healthy salad dish which included smashed potatoes, beetroot, fresh tomatoes and salad leaves, and freshly grated Parmesan as well as a centrepiece being a poached egg with seasonings added to make the perfect dish.nWe shall return. Thank you.nCoffees we're great too!
Called in this morning to Abxolute Coffee House for some kai and kāwhe. What a lovely experience. I thought the cafe was lovely, the atmosphere really good, soft music playing in the background, sounds of a busy kitchen and hum of earnest conversation.nnService was excellent, warm greeting, coffee, and food arrived promptly. Kāwhe cappuccino with choc was perfect, smoothie tropical perfect, and the kai, scrumptious . The cabinet food looked just as good!nnIt's definitely worth visiting.
Had a wonderful lunch at this lovely cafe, absolutely a hidden gem! Superb service and worth mention on the great food and coffee!! Haven’t had a decent chocolatey mocha for a while, special kudos to the barista today xx Our family of three loved our food and had a great afternoon there. Definitely recommended!!
