We loved the atmosphere and they had great customer service. We had the vegan filo wrap and a blueberry& custard muffin and both was delicious. They also had an amazing cabinet selection, but unfortunately none of the items had prices on them which was very frustrating. We also hot the iced moch and coffee and both was delicious, not too sweet, but sweet enough. Overall it was a great experience

Food was nice, nothing special. Waited half an hour for 1 coffee and an hour for food for 2. Though they said 15min for coffee and 30 for foodFood: 4/5

Friendly staff, ok food and good coffee. Had a french toast that was ok but could be better if the bananas were also fried. Eggs bennie were good. Nice environment

After lining up for 10 minutes, I could understand it was quite busy and my food would take a while. Though I didn't expect to be waiting an HOUR for 2 meals to come out, and after about 50 minutes I was told they were out of one ingredient for my meal? The food was fine once it finally came, but I was so irritated by the wait that I just ate it quickly and left to get on with my day Can't say I recommend this place, maybe it's better when it's less busy but I've never had to wait so long for a relatively simple meal

Awful service as usual.. two take away coffees took more then 10 mins and they have more staff than a busy high end restaurant in Auckland. Owner is miserable and staff unhelpful, will never return!

Waited patiently for renovation. The decor was much nicer before. I'm not entirely sure what they had done. The staff now looks grumpy - especially the blonde lady. Waited a long time to be served with no other customers - lady making coffee just looked at me and didn't acknowledge me. The blonde server just walked to the other only table inside and back by the cabinet and to the table while I was waiting. Didn't acknowledge me either. Coffee was good. Carrot cake was good. Service not so much. This was my favorite cafe when visiting the Mt, and I always loved coming here. Quite disappointed this weekend. I was so looking forward to it reopening.

This place has the potential for being a great cafe. The food is good, the servings are decent and the little courtyard out the back and the lovely sunny chairs out the front are lovely in the morning sunshine. If it weren’t for the terrible attitude of the barista German girl. I’ve been here quite a few times, and every time she’s been unhelpful and rude and the coffee was luke warm and average. Not a pleasant experience. Food was alright however. But if your staff aren’t matching the standards of the food it kinda brings the place down. ‍

Tasted alright but found a shard of plastic in my veggie chilli bean roll.. and service was not super friendly..

The staff friendly and the snacks were outstanding. The chicken wraps were full of tender moist chicken. The carrot cake was something to dye for. I don't know if they do their own baking but it was very good.

We have been in this cafe lots of times over the last 10 years. The current staff and service is very poor. No matter how clear we are with our coffee orders they always get it wrong...which is a Damm shame because the cabinet food is so fresh and lovely. Front of house personality and attention to detail required to make this the go to place it used to be.
