V. friendly hostess, who was able to provide good info for local travel. The 2 rooms were very comfortable and spotless. Our daughter found her bed very comfortable, pregnant Really appreciated the fresh milk and hot drinks selections. Very enjoyable shower and the soap and shampoo products provided were lovely - felt v. spoilt. Enjoyed the walk to the beach which involved just crossing the road. Would happily stay here again. Only sad that the rain hastened our departure plans as well as shortening the beach explorations.

We stayed at Baileys the nights of February 27 and 28, 2023, in an upstairs unit. Positives - -Large unit with a comfortable bed -Nice shower with good water pressure -Great view from the unit and patio of the ocean -Very clean Negatives -The owner’s unit on the lower level unfortunately was damaged in the cyclone on February 12. They are having extensive remodeling done as a result and our unit was quite noisy with hammering and drilling etc. This started about 8:00 am and lasted all day both days. We were not forewarned of this despite having emailed the motel prior to our visit for a status due to the cyclone. -Wi-Fi is slow, at best had two bars. -The motel is at a busy corner with lots of truck traffic during the day - it’s noisy when the patio door is open. It quiets down at night.

Why was it excellent? The service & staff were very friendly & attentive. The room was very modern and contained everything you needed. Towels, robes, soaps, were all high quality. Excellent ocean view balcony. Room was very very clean. Highly recommend staying here if you’re in whitianga!

Absolutely would recommend this Motel. Very clean, serviced daily, great view of Beach. Just loved the shower. The Host Jo was Absolutely awesome and helped my husband with a booking Dinner for 2 for my Birthday. The People in Whitianga were very welcoming. A great Town to visit.Rooms: 5/5

Great family owned and operated business. Brad & Jo are fantastic and go out of their way to make your stay with them a memorable experience. The room was comfortable, clean spacious and the view from the balcony is to die for. Great water pressure in the shower. I honestly can't fault this place. Spacious,clean rooms with a well equipped kitchenette and decent shower. I would happily recommend and would not hesitate to book again.

Fantastic place!! Super clean and tidy. The kitchen has good amenities, and the deluxe one bedroom is adequate for 4 adults or families. Great friendly hosts. This motel is in the perfect location, overlooking Buffalo Beach and close to town. The views are simply stunning. With the beach being only a min walk away I would highly recommend Bailey's to anyone wanting some good R&R.

Perfect stay at Baileys, we booked 2 rooms and both were so clean and well equipped! Amazing ocean view from belcony upstairs and patio downstairs.Thank you to the lovely couple at reception, showed us to each of our rooms and throughout.
