Story

Buttercups Preschool is a family owned and operated early childhood service located in a newly built, safe and secure, (fully monitored) facility in Huntsbury, Christchurch. We have all meals available with a chef onsite who prepares morning and afternoon tea's, along with a cooked nutritious lunch. The 20 Hours ECE scheme is available for children from three to five years of age. (T&C's apply.)

We aim to provide high quality education and care for 2-5 year olds, within a welcoming environment. Our aim is to bring a sense of home life to centre life.We have both morning and afternoon sessions, as well as full day sessions available. Our emphasis is on respectful, reciprocal relationships with whānau, caregivers, children and staff. Open communication is of most importance and we encourage family to be as involved as they would like to be in their child’s learning and development at Buttercups Preschool.

We have a special nurturing environment, where children are empowered and have a great sense of belonging, as they explore their current interests. Learning stories and photographs are available on a secure site, for families to find online through the Infocare software. Profile books, including these stories and photos, will also be available. These are in a hard copy version in the classroom, for the children to view at their leisure.
