We'd had a pretty full on morning and had driven into Levin for a Birthday lunch. After a couple of non starter cafés we thought third time lucky.nFollowing Google Maps into the industrial heart of Levin we were starting to think we'd taken a wrong turn, instead we found a delightful and welcoming Cafe that hit all the spots.nBush Street Cafe do honest food very well, and dress it with lashings of hospitality, that is hard to find these days. We chatted while our meals were underway, sipped yummy smoothies and reflected on the great find we had made on Bush Street. The meals were great, and our daughters gluten free meal was wonderfully prepared which made the occasion especially special . It's so cool to happen upon food establishments that go the extra mile, we'll done Bush Street Cafe.
Food was absolutely delish. Cafe is such a hidden gem and loved the pattie with the big breakfast. Staff were fantastic. We'll definitely be back
I had my dog in tow so sat outside but was made to feel very welcome, even my dog was given a bowl of water in case she was thirsty. The 10 min walk in the bush beside the place was a delight to discover as well. The food was quite simply perfect.
Hubby and I were craving cinnamon rolls and saw that the Bush Street Cafe had some freshly baked ones this morning so we had to go and have some! We ended up having a lovely brunch there and it was our first time visiting and certainly will not be the last! The cinnamon rolls were so delicious - fresh, warm and fluffy cinnamony-sweet! We also got the steak meal and the open periperi chicken sandwich with fries! Soooo good! Highly recommend, it has plenty of parking and spacious inside too with a lovely outdoor setting. The staff were also very friendly! Great service all round!
Stopped in at Bush Street Café and went for the peri peri chicken burger, fully expecting a flavour punch that might lightly scold my tastebuds. Instead, it was more of a friendly tap on the shoulder. I was hoping for more zing, but to be fair, the burger itself was tasty and well put together — no complaints once expectations were reset.nnA special shout-out to the fries: crispy, golden, and blessedly not drowned in salt. Whoever’s in charge of seasoning deserves a quiet nod of respect.nI’m told this place is something of a local legend for its toasties. I didn’t partake this time, but that just gives me a reason to return and investigate the hype properly.nnAll up, a solid, enjoyable meal and a café that knows what it’s doing. Just don’t expect the peri peri to pick a fight.
