Burnside-Harewood Anglican Parish is a Bible-believing, Spirit-led faith community within the Christchurch Diocese. We exist to serve whole families. Our services are:
St Tim's Burnside, 10.15am or 6.30pm Sundays
St James' Harewood , 8.45am on Sundays
Jacqui and I moved to New Zealand from the UK in 2009 to begin an adventure leading St Timothy’s Burnside and St James’ Harewood. We were impressed by the authentic faith and real sense of community here, whilst recognising areas where the parish needed to grow. 7 years on and we are really encouraged by seeing God at work particularly in areas of children and families and internationals.
We want to welcome you wherever you are on your faith journey – whether you’ve been following Jesus for years or whether you’re thinking about making the first tentative steps. Our top priority is making lifelong disciples of Jesus. From the very young to the very old we want to find out what it means to follow Jesus in the ups and downs of everyday life. That’s not always easy and life is rarely simple, but we believe that God can forgive us for the past and transform us for the future.
If you want to know more about us, check out or website www.burnside.org.nz or come and visit us at St Timothy's, 46 Kendal Avenue, or St James 750 Harewood Road.
