Special Order unbelievably too long to arrive! Special order took almost three weeks to be ready for pick-up. Difference with other seller is just $5 but gets ready for pick-up the next day. Would have not made the special order if I had known it would take more than a week.
Stock is crap. Had to look for ages to find 4 matching power sockets.. no decent double screw mains connector in store stock.. No cheap entrance door lever sets.. Had to go to Mitre 10 instead. Had to wait ages for wood to be cut too.. and had to pay for it. I miss Mitre 10 Paremata- used to be a great local store with free wood offcuts. Bunnings force you to buy whole lengths.. then pay for it to be cut. That sucks.
Great service at Bunnings Porirua today. Gentleman restocking shelves pointed us to propogation mix, 2 options.nLovely young woman at till was friendly with Happy New Year greetings. And smiley woman at exit was super friendly. Best service at any hardware store. Well done team Bunnings Porirua.
Disappointing shopping experience, very, very few staff available to ask for help about products. But when found helpful. Only 2 checkouts were operating, so long queues. Self operating checkouts were closed such a different shopping experience since the last time I was at Bunnings Porirua . I then went to their competitor and the complete opposite.
Our beloved Bunnings for over 20 years. Current favourite staff is James at the entrance service desk.
