Excellent place to shop especially for trade
Frustrating that they don't display holiday hours. Drove from Trentham and found them shut. I saw four other cars come and go while I fed my baby. Poor communication. Labour Day 2016
I was very pleasantly surprised that the product we were unable to purchase at the Petone branch and in fact any other hardware store in the area at the time was readily here and was in abundance, the service was extremely professional and loads of help and advice was on offer.nWe were straight in and out with no delay.nI and I think most people don't realize that the general public are aloud to shop here.nI can't recommend this hardware store enough.nSophie

Shame on U putting profit before customers service. Not allowing a cut to length service is stupid, wasteful of timber resources, increasing carbon emissions and not in yr customers best interest. Wanting only 2mtrs of 290x45 joist I could only buy a 6mtrs length, no cut lengths at Bunnings . I'm building a deck and require about $7000 of timber. I had to go to mitre 10 who willingly cut the joist size I needed , no problem, friendly helpful staff. Now I will buy all my timber from Mitre 10 , so well done Bunnings U lost my future $7000 order. I complained to the Bunnings manager but new rules have been introduced, no cut lengths. Whist in Mitre10 a tradee with a Bunnings tee shirt, he was buying cut lengths timbers because Bunnings no longer offer cut lengths. Well done Bunnings U lost their trade. DIYers don't want 6mtrs lengths of timber for home handy man jobs, you're now not offering a customer service I hope more will walk away from Bunnings in protest to this profit making decision.
